Mental Health - Presentation

Presentation

There is no health without mental health.” With these words, the World Health Organization (WHO) places the psychological dimension of mental health on the same level as any other vital human function. In other words, mental health is valuable and concerns us all, as evidenced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As students, you are at a key time in your lives, a time of happiness and success, but also a time of turmoil and uncertainty. Looking after your mental health is not just a matter of well-being. It is also about taking care of your health in general and strengthening your ability to cope with whatever life throws at you.

Here you will find information and advice on prevention and care.

Good mental health is a state of well-being in which a person can thrive, overcome the everyday stresses of life, be productive in their work and contribute to their community. In this positive sense, mental health is the basis of an individual’s well-being and the healthy functioning of a community.
